Benita "Kim" Caudill of Richmond Virginia passed away on September 29, 2022. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia on February 15, 1957 to Joyce Kirtley Wells and John Kirtley, who predeceased her. Kim is survived by her sister, Vickey McCue and husband Purcell, nieces Jenny Collins and Heather McCue, great niece Caitlin McManamay, cousin Gary Tomlin, and many more extended family.
Kim also leaves behind her second family, the Cooks, for whom she was a nanny for over twenty years; Sallie (mom), Susan, Sarah, and Elizabeth, who she referred to as "My Girls." As they grew and had children of their own, she became nanny to Sarah's children, Katherine and Sallie.
Kim last worked for the Short Pump Wegmans, where she brought a smile to everyone's face. Kim had a huge circle of friends both near and far that will miss her greatly.
Kim loved stuffed bears, Nascar, and country music, especially Tony Stewart and Alan Jackson.
Family visitation will be Sunday, October 30th, 2022 from 12:30-3:30 at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia 23229.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
