Arthur Ray O'Dell

Arthur Ray “Bubby” O’Dell, 84, of Sandston, VA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Payne O’Dell; and sister, Mary Mabie. Arthur retired from Safeway after 44 years of dedicated service and drove a bus for Henrico County Public Schools for over 15 years. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Ray Bryant O’Dell (Jane Brown); grandchildren, Michael Ray O’Dell, Kristin Elizabeth O’Dell (Erick Dixon); seven great grandchildren; sister, Rachel Hudnall, Wilma Kidd, Susie Shope; and special niece and caregiver, Jolonda Locker Moore. Arthur will be laid to rest privately in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Sandston, VA.
