Quyen Van Luong

He served in the Military Security Industry. Then, the National Police Academy Trainer and worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He also attended Thu Duc University of Technology until April 30, 1975.

He and his wife reunited with his only daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters in the United States in 1992 in Garland, TX.

He received baptism and converted to Catholicism in 1994 at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

In 1996, he worked part-time for the Garland School District until 2001.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings and his wife of 72 years, Phuoc Thi Phan. He is survived by his daughter and husband Nguyet and Sinh Dang. His granddaughters and their husbands Diemha and Paul Lance Ignacio, Han and Rochard McAfee. His great-grandchildren Jordan Ignacio, Logan Ignacio, Reagan Ignacio and Mila McAfee.

Visitations will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Sparkman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1029 South Greenville Ave., Richardson, TX 75081. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 8:00 AM at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2121 Apollo Rd., Garland, TX 75044.
