Mary Dietra Gorman

Mary Dietra Gorman was born June 2, 1944 in Dallas, TX to Arthur and LaVina Galbraith. Mary was raised in California and moved back to Texas where she graduated from Ennis High School and The University of North Texas.

She married Lewis Gorman on July 27, 1968 in Ennis, TX. This loving couple has three children, Gretchen Alexandra, Ginger Leigh and Clay Bentley; grandchildren, Robert Alexander, Brandon Lewis, Ashley Isabel and Alyssa Rae; great grandson, Ryder Clay.

Mary has been preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary, son, Clay and son-in-law, Robert Bescos.

This wonderful woman had been dealing with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years and the only thing she had to say was “I am not sick!- I just can’t walk” and then giggle. She had been laughing with her “Prince Charming” up until she fell asleep and passed away on January 6, 2016.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Sparkman Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:30pm, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter, Richardson, TX 75081.

Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
