Evie Belvin

Evelyn Marie Belvin, better known as Evie by all who knew and loved her, went home to Jesus on February 19, 2022 surrounded by her family and friends. She will be remembered most for her contagious smile, big heart and total enthusiasm for life. She loved her family, her dog Daisy, the color pink, and bubbles. Evie loved learning new things. Some of her favorite topics were Big Ben, the inner workings of a clock, the pyramids of Egypt and all the remarkable landmark structures and monuments of the world. She loved the world's wonders so much she would often point them out in movies or find similar shapes while looking out the window on car rides. Evie loved adventures, some of which included swimming off the coast of Florida, skiing the slopes of Colorado, conquering Disney World, camping with her family, and hiking through the mountains. Her gentle and carefree smile charmed everyone she met – making frequent new friends on trips, walks in the neighborhood or even in her hospital room.

Evie’s family is forever grateful to the countless nurses, doctors, and therapists that poured their hearts into her over the years. Her seven plus years on this earth will be forever cherished and remembered by her parents Katie and Michael Belvin, sister Charlotte Belvin, grandparents Debra and JB Belvin, Judy and Tom Gould, Retha Church, John Fletcher, aunts and uncles Lynsi and Drew Fletcher and Camie and Brent Belvin, and cousins Henry and Ezra Fletcher and Rowan and Kai Belvin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Health Dallas - Child Life Department in Evie's name. In honor of Evie’s joyous spirit, the family invites all who attend her Celebration of Life to wear bright colors.
