Phung Quang Nguyen

My father was Phung Quang Nguyen, son of Mr. Thuan Quang Nguyen and Mrs. Phuoc Thi Hoang. Oldest brother to 11 younger sibling. My mom is Mai Tuyet Thi Nguyen and I, Vinh Quang Nguyen, am their only son with my wife, Phuong Ngoc Nguyen. My father was a Republic of Vietnam Veteran serving with The Tiger Commando, Communication Force Command, and the Armory Army. He gave his youth to years of War and communist imprisonment. He diligently sacrificed and economized his whole life to be a dutiful son, a fulfilling brother, and a loving husband and father. He was creative, persistent, and never steered from difficulty. "Firm Spirit" are the words that remind me of him.

He dedicated the last 10 years of his life side-by-side with me to co-found and develop Sky Lumen. He served in silence so that I can be glorious, which is what he named me (Quang Vinh = Glorious). He often shared that he will be at peace when God has called. His sudden absence leaves a void and sorrow in us all.

My dear loving father, I am proud of you and will give my all to continue the legacy you left behind. Mom, Phuong and I, and the family are bowing as we say our goodbyes. We will meet again in Heaven by the graces of Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, and all of Saints. Amen.
