Paul Henry Palmer was born August 30th, 1959 to Joseph Sr., and Bernice Palmer. Growing up he was a kind compassionate person, always lending a hand and helping others, a character trait that would be with him throughout his life.
Paul attended Tahoma School District in Maple Valley WA. An athlete he played Basketball all through High School. Known as Big P on the court, Paul traveled around the State playing ball. He was awarded most valuable player in his Junior and Senior years.
After graduating from High School in 1978, Paul continued his education at Highline Community College, where he continued to play basketball.
After College, he took a job as a machinist at Blaser Diecasting Company in Georgetown, Seattle WA. Having many diverse talents: he worked on cars and did carpentry work.
His greatest passion was scrapping metal, which he turned into a lucrative business.
Paul was married for 21 years, to Kimeeta Palmer with whom he shared two children, Paul Palmer Jr., and Kimesha Palmer. A dedicated father, he raised his Sons and Daughter as he was raised to pray and ask God to bless their lives. His children were his pride and joy. A love for family he raised two of his nieces Monique and Walonda Moss.
Among his siblings he was the jokester, telling all the family stories, putting a spin on them, and making everyone laugh. Also known as Bubba (big brother) a name given to him by his youngest sister, He was an anchor, they could call on him for anything.
Paul loved to travel especially taking road trips with the family to the ocean. He continued a tradition from his youth of going to Pike Place Market( public market), a history buff he would share interesting facts about world events and people.
Paul had a way with people, with that winning smile, open heart, and curiosity about life, he could strike up a conversation with anyone. His favorite phrase (Right On!)
In the last 2 years of his life, Paul attended Follow the Light Koinonia Church, under the Leadership of his older brother Pastor Joseph Palmer Jr. Here he grew closer to the Lord, committing his life into God’s hands.
Paul Henry Palmer, a beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend will be deeply missed.
Paul was followed in death by his Mother Bernice Palmer 10/14/2022, and proceeded in death by his Father Joseph Palmer Sr. (1985).
He is survived by his Children: Paul Palmer Jr., Kimesha Palmer, Issac Palmer, and Adaishewa.
Grandchildren: R’taveon Palmer, Kimeria Palmer, Josiah Palmer, Zemira Palmer Davis
Siblings: Venice Palmer Simmons, Joanne Palmer Fontenot (Earl) Pastor Joseph Palmer Jr., (Carolyn) Diana Palmer Fields, (Tim) Micah Palmer ( Florine), and Marcus Palmer
Nieces and Nephews: Genice Simmons, Andre Moss, Monique Moss, Leonard Simmons, Walonda Moss, Virginia Simmons Forest, (DeVictor) Joenay Palmer, Joseph Palmer III, Micah Palmer Jr., Malcolm Fontenot.
