Larry Wesley Bunning was born on August 31, 1958 early Sunday morning before Labor Day. Always active, I found him across the two lane highway playing in the dirt behind the house…he was quick from my eyes.
When he was 22 months old he had a brother and was a big boy …he knew all the nursery rhymes and wanted to potty like his dad. He also was driving our car…through the garage door, but at 16 passed the driver’s test first time. Before he was five he was riding a two wheeler down the street where I grew up.
Cub scouts, baseball, friends, girls, his Labradors and his family on camping, hunting and fishing with family at a very early age was where his heart was.
He liked school but didn’t strive for excellence but learned what he liked very well-agriculture was his favorite subject…Graduating Issaquah High in June 1977.
September 7, 1977 his career at Boeing started…at his retirement party his supervisor said Larry knew more about the workings of the plant than he did.
Retirement brought on a new and different life for him…all his treasures and toys…and he wasn’t afraid to use them.
