Maple Valley Washington
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Johnathan Joseph Wiger of Maple Valley Washington, announce his sudden and untimely passing.
Johnathan was born to Ron and Darlene Wiger of Kent Washington, where he was raised into his young adulthood. Johnathan welcomed his only son, Johnathan Joseph Junior into the world July 22nd 2000. In 2007, He met the love of his life, Rachel, and her two children, Alexa and Avery. Rachel and Johnathan resided with their 3 children in what Johnathan referred to as his “dream home”, on the Cedar river in Maple Valley Washington until his passing.
Anyone who was lucky enough to know Johnathan would agree that he marched to the beat of his own drum. He always had some cool project going at home as evident by the “Man Cave” he created (that would make any man envious) and more recently the beautiful raised garden beds with intricate irrigation system that he’d built for his love, Rachel. Johnathan was so proud of his family and the home that He and Rachel had together on the River.
Johnathan had taken up fly fishing and would often be up at the crack of dawn in the middle of the river in his waders. Other activities that Johnathan looked forward to were the summer camping trips with family and most recently, going on day rides through the countryside on his new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
A grill master on the Traeger, Johnathan LOVED to entertain. Most family events were held at Johnathan and Rachel’s home where he would smoke and BBQ the most amazing meats. Family and gatherings were truly important to Johnathan and brought him much joy.
Johnathan’s passing has been deeply devastating for his friends and family. Words cannot describe just how much he will be missed. Johnathan leaves behind his soul mate and fiance Rachel, His son JJ, Step-children Alexa and Avery, and his four-legged son Odin He also leaves behind his mother Darlene, brother Kyle and sister-in-law Annell, his nephews Rodrick and Leiff, his in-laws Pam and Steve (Dood) Miller, his sister-in-law Emily, niece Ivy, nephew Archer and many other close family, friends and coworkers from Ceva where he worked for 16 years. Johnathan was preceded in death by his father Ron.
A service to honor the life of Johnathan J Wiger will be held on Saturday, July 8th at the Cedar Lodge in Maple Valley Washington at 11am.
