Uncle Jim I will miss all of your laughter and all of the times we had together during the years.  I'm so proud of the time I spent with you and Aunt Irene a few years ago I will never  forget it. Enjoying the times laughing about old times. I know you are rejoicing with your brothers and  sister. I'm so glad to call you my dads brother.  Sam

Daddy, how very blessed I was to have you as my father. You could have had any daughter you wanted, but YOU chose ME! I have always held the story of how you found me, so close to my heart! It will always be a warm memory I will pass down, for the future generations, so they will know what an amazing father and man you were. You raised me right, you taught me the important things in life. You also passed on your humor! Your silly little jokes and sayings are a permanent part in my life. You will be missed beyond words. But I truly have peace knowing we will have eternity together. With no pain or suffering, walking hand in hand on streets of gold. Jimmy and I will watch over Mom for you!

Jim was an important part of my life and my family's life. I will not forget his smile or his warmth and kindness.  As my dad would say, "Jim was a man of quality." He will be truly missed by all of the Gebo family.  Our prayers are with Irene and her family. Love, Perlene Gebo Lake

Jim was such a great guy.   We always enjoyed our visits with him & Irene.   Loved hearing the fishing stories.  He was such a big help when My Dad, friend David came and the three built a shed for us when we moved down the street from Jim & Irene in Springfield.   Always ready to lend a hand.  We are thankful the Lord brought him into our lives.   Our thoughts and prayers are with you Irene and your Family!

So many memories of Uncle Jim have flooded my mind in the last few days.  From all the fun times with him when I was a child, to the sad times with my Dad and beyond. He never forgot to call me for my birthday after I lost Daddy.  He always asked about my kids and grand kids, and really cared about them.  He was a sweet man, and really had a way with children.  Life won't be the same for so many without him. He was genuinely one of a kind.  God bless you Aunt Irene, Jimmy, Jacqui, and all the grand kids.  I love you.  Patty and family.

Jim will have a special place in my heart forever.  I have many fond memories of him as a patient, a surrogate grandfather to my children, and as a friend.  May he rest in peace.

Jim was like a brother to Bill and I. He was always joking and enjoying life to the fullest. He worked so hard in our church, always available to fix what ever needed fixed. He loved the Lord and the Lords people. He will always be missed by those that loved him. Thank you Jim for 40 plus years of fond memories. We love you.

Jim was a very humble man. I know him through my adoptee dad's work at school district when I was a student at WSD and my adoptee dad usually pick me up and stop by at his office before go home and saw him several times for several years. I know his wife Irene just before him.  Glad that he had a wonderful marriage and family and church and friends.
