The center of Frank’s life was his five children, family & friends. He was a loving father, great mentor, and highly respected individual. He had great vision and passion for his lifelong vocation in the construction industry.
Frank was born in Seattle Washington to Joseph and Mary. His father, Joseph, emigrated from Italy where he met Mary in Seattle to begin their family and life together in America.
Frank embraced hard work and dedication to accomplishing a vision early in his life. He pioneered one of the leading regional and national civil construction companies which specializes in large scale infrastructure projects. He started his construction company, Frank Coluccio Construction Company over 60 years ago. Thru the years, the company has received multiple national and international awards for excellence in services that have been provided in many communities throughout the United States. He treated his employees as part of his family.
Frank is survived by his five children (and their spouses): Joe (Sheri), Medrice, Franco (Lisa), Nick (Patricia) and Chris (Margie). Frank has 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A mass and celebration of his life will be held at 11am, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15226 21st Ave SW Burien, Washington. Reception to follow at the Normandy Park Community Club (a/k/a the Cove), 1500 SW Shorebrook Drive, Normandy Park, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Evergreen Health Foundation, Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center Fund in memory of Frank Coluccio.
