With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our adored mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Lynn Lenius, who left us peacefully on October 12th, 2024. Born on January 20th, 1947, Lynn was known for cherishing her daily walks, bike rides to the Legislature Building where she reveled in the beauty of nature and the simple moments of life. She was a devoted companion to her lifelong true love, Jim Lenius. The love they shared was a testament to their enduring bond. Cooking with Jim was another passion; together, they created countless delicious meals and cherished memories, often sharing with family and friends for their Pizza Fridays, Grey Cups & Super bowl's and of course the endless Holiday celebrations with everyone.
Lynn had great pride in obtaining her teaching degree where she taught in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and eventually retired from her fulfilling career in retail. Much of Lynn’s time and love was also spent immersed in the interests of her grandchildren, whether it be trips to the museum or on the sidelines of their events she cherished celebrating their milestones. The pillow on her couch stating “had I known grandchildren were this much fun, I would have had them first” is a true reflection of her heart for them. Along with being a loving mother and grandmother; she was a treasured sister and friend to many. She always spoke in reflective love of all the laughter, movies, appointments, Globe Theatre to name a few.
She is survived by her children, Tyler Lenius (Denise Grad), Shauna Lenius, grandchildren, Brayden, Paige, Connor, Maréa and Brynnlynn. Her beloved siblings and in-laws, each of them carrying forward her legacy of love and kindness.
Though she has left this world, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Lynn will be deeply missed but is now reunited with the love of her life, resting eternally together.
