Norman is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Eldon, Keenan, Matthew, Tammy, Shirley, Eunice, and Darlene, as was as many nieces and nephews.
Norman was born on June 28, 1967 in Outlook, SK. He attended school in Wynyard, SK. Norman was caring, selfless, charismatic, and extremely talented in so many ways. Music was his most well-known talent. Norman was in a band with Rob Tarr called Tall Town. He could play any stringed instrument, however, the lead guitar was his favorite. His voice was beyond amazing. When he would sing, nobody could help but become hooked, or even fall in love. Music was his main source of healing. When Norman played, he left this world entirely and became one with the music. Norman volunteered to entertain at fundraisers; he performed at Telemiracle, 91.3 FM CJTR, Regina Community Radio, and he provided entertainment to anybody that was in his presence. He wrote and recorded his own song, “Heartbeat.” His music will live on in our hearts and it will live on with his children. Norman was a jack of all trades. “A master of none is better than a master of one.” There was nothing Norman couldn’t do. He was a talented mechanic, carpenter, electrician, plumber, womanizer, as he would say, and this list goes on. One of Norman’s favorite hobbies would be buying, fixing, and selling vehicles, or he would just help a friend fix their vehicle. Norman loved to joke. He could make anybody laugh, including himself. Only sometimes would it be at somebody’s expense. His laughter and humour will be missed by all.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan at 2360 2nd Avenue, Regina, SK, S4R 1A6
