Jordana Buchan (nee Ball), passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 49 surrounded by the love of her family. Jordana grew up in Regina where she attended Gladys McDonald Elementary and Thom Collegiate. After graduation she went to the University of Regina and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, then moved to Ottawa to pursue further studies at Algonquin College. Her working career was diverse from the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame to the Canadian Diabetes Association to the Regina Public Library. On top of that she kept busy with many organizations involved in fundraising and charity work. Along the way she met and married her best friend Scott in July of 2005 and they were blessed with two loving children Dryden and Joree. Her life then became full with family time and supporting the children with school and all of their extracurricular activities. Throughout Jordana’s life music also played an incredibly special role beginning with childhood piano lessons, then developing her beautiful voice participating in high school choir. During her university years she sang with various local bands where she cultivated many lasting friendships. Most recently she was a soloist in the Westminster United Church choir, and it seems fitting that her next journey will have her singing with the angels. Along with Scott and the children she will be remembered by her parents Doug and Jean (Wallace) Ball, sister Stephanie Ball and Aunt Shirley (Ball) Sterlinger. She is also survived by father-in-law Lowen Buchan, sisters-in-law Tracy Dunville (Dwayne, nephew Jacob) and Judy Lieb (Kevin, nieces Jenessa, Makayla) along with many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jordana’s memory to Breast Cancer Research through the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday July 17, 2021 at Westminster United Church located at 3025 13th Ave, Regina. Summer attire for the hot weather. Interment to take place at 11:00AM Monday July 19, 2021 at Riverside Memorial Park located at 815 Assiniboine Ave E, Regina.
