It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Brother, Dad, Uncle, Papa, friend - Jason John Anaskan 54 years old. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Predeceased by his wife Bonnie Anaskan, Dad Chief Johnnie Rockthunder, Mom Brenda Anaskan, Biological Father Delano Toto - his father Andrew & Winona Toto, his Mushums and Kokums, John and Mary Louise Rockthunder, Ann Rockthunder and Roderick Anaskan and sister Andrea Toto.
Surviving Siblings Gina Anaskan, Barbi-Jo Kosar, Phaedre Anaskan, Telly Anaskan, Val-Marie Anaskan, Janelle Taypotat, Sylvia Rockthunder, Rhea Rockthunder, Fred Rockthunder, Sam Toto and Brandy Toto. Jason's kid - Delano (Destiny) Redwood, Jenna (Tyler) Redwood, Frank Redwood, and special son Jaydan Anaskan and step-kids Justin, Sundance , Chantelle and Charity.
Survived by numerous grandkids, aunts, uncles, cousins, mushums, kokums and friends.
Jason was a caring, loving humorous man. He was well-respected man who dedicated his life to his wife Bonnie up to her passing and loved his family with all his heart. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital especially Ashley.
Wake for Jason will be held Thursday, July 4, 2024 after 4 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave. E., Regina. A Funeral Service will occur in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. A Burial will follow at Pasqua First Nations Cemetery.
