She is predeceased by her husband Tony Kohut; parents George and Ann Hladun; sister Mary (John) Schab; brothers Bill (Sonia) Hladun, Roman (Geraldine) Hladun, Walter Hladun, Alfred Hladun, and Melvin Hladun.
Cassie is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters Judy and Alice Kohut; brothers Ernest (Alexandra) Hladun, Fred Hladun, Paul (Frances) Hladun, Harry Hladun, and David (Audrey) Hladun; sisters-in-law Alice and Anna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cassie loved to cook, bake, knit and crochet. She enjoyed her time travelling and camping, especially to the mountains. She had fun playing cards and dancing, all while listening to her favorite Ukrainian music. During the summer, you would often find Cassie spending her time tending to her garden. Most of all, Cassie loved her daughters and her family spending as much time as she could with them.

Cassie will be laid to rest in Canora, SK where a private family service will be held.
