Ronald Lee McCaslin passed away Feb. 25, 2015, at his home in Redding, Ca. Ron was born March 7, 1942 in Santa Maria, Ca. and was raised in Shafter, Ca. He graduated with the Class of 1960. He joined the Army in Oct. 1960. He moved to Redding in 1968 where he met his wife Rose (now deceased) and they were married in 1969. They lived here in Redding and had their daughter Roxanne in 1971. They went on to live in Petaluma, Ca. and he worked for PG&E. He divorced and moved back to Redding and in 1977 became the second generation to own Dudes Drive In. He is survived by his daughter Roxanne McCaslin and grandchildren Patricia, Victoria, and Mason. Also his sister Diane Estabrook & husband Brooks. He will be missed by his nephew & cousins. As well as friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at McDonald's Chapel on 1275 Continental St. Redding, Ca. on March 7, 2015 at 10:00 am. A potluck will follow.
