With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Elizabeth Schaefer, a devoted mother and grandmother, who left this world surrounded by love on November 10, 2024. She was a pillar of strength and grace, cherished by all who knew her.
She left behind her loving children, Michael (Beulah), Susan, Cathy (Santiago), Walter, John, Gary and Karen; her adoring nine grandchildren; her 12 precious great-grandchildren and her blessed 2 great-great grandchildren. Martha was a constant source of joy and wisdom, shaping the lives of her family with unconditional love.
While she leaves a void that can never be filled, we take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband, John Charles Schaefer Sr, knowing their love and laughter echo together again.
Martha will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A service to honor her beautiful life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Mercy, 2500 Shasta View Dr., Redding, CA.
