February 11,1930 to April 12, 2024. Born to Grant and Mildred Green in Doris, Ca. She spent her early years in Idaho and Oregon marrying Robert Logan in Roseburg Or. Moving on to Happy Camp Ca. in 1967. Losing her husband in 1968 she met and married Ken Petrey in 1971. There they began a career in the logging business, moving to Redding, Ca in 1976. They continued that business and added a veneer mill in 1980. She was an active member in the timber industry both with LANC and Associated Ca. Loggers. Known by "Charlie" she had many friends and was elected the first ACL Redding Chapter Chairwoman, advancing the causes for the industry both locally and in Sacramento, developing Dept. of Agriculture small business priorities such as loans for buying timber and equipment. Lawmakers in both California and Washington were kept on their toes by her dogged nature to get things done. She is survived by children Wayne and Sharon Logan, Donald Logan, Sharol and David Mackie, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and ex-husband Ken Petrey. She met and married Clyde Andrews and enjoyed life together until his death in 2012. Member of the Church of the Nazarene, she most liked her ministry to the Rehab of Souls who lost their way and found a way back at the Journey Church where her service will be held May 18th, 2024 at 11 o'clock. 2868 Silver St. Anderson Ca. 96007.
