Maria Cruz Zambrano, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Maria was 84 years old, born in 1940 in Zacatecas Mexico. In 1960, she met the love of her life, Eusebio Zambrano Jr. and they married in 1962.
Maria will be remembered most as being a devoted homemaker and mother to her 4 daughters, Diana Zambrano Martinez, Nellie Zepeda, Patti Flint, and Lori Raygoza. Her love and commitment to her family, including her son-in-laws, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren was what mattered most in her life. As a homemaker, she took pride in her cooking and loved sharing her meals with anyone who came into her home. She also enjoyed gardening and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Along with her husband of 63 years, she was a devoted and faithful member of Sacred Heart Church.
A visitation for Maria will be held on Thursday, August 1st, 4:00 p.m. at Hoyte-Cole Chapel of the Flowers in Red Bluff, with a Rosary at 6:00. Visitation and refreshments will continue until 8:00 p.m.
A service for Maria will be held on Friday, August 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Red Bluff. A procession will follow to the burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, 600 Cemetery Lane in Red Bluff. Following the burial, please join us in celebrating the life of Maria Cruz Zambrano in the congregation hall at Sacred Heart Church.
