Monica Neely DeJesus

She was born in Reading on August 2, 1966 a daughter of Linda Retha Covel and the late Bernard J. Neely.

Monica worked very hard to accomplish her nursing degree while working full time and raising her family. She enjoyed cooking and playing piano in her younger years. Monica took great pride in her family who she adored very much.

In addition to her mother, Monica is survived by her 3 daughters; Sonia DeJesus and her husband Jose Vargas, Jessica DeJesus and her husband Freddie Urena, Erica and her husband Travis Blanding, her son, Treymane Godbolt, her siblings; William Covel, Marci Covel, Sylvania and her husband Michael Bell, Leroy Moise, step mother, Gloria Davis, 18 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Monica was predeceased by her son, Brock "BJ" Neely and her sister, Juanita Moise.

A gathering of friends and relatives for Monica will be Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Theo C Auman, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
