Linda Lou (Endy) Epler, 76, of Blandon, PA entered eternal rest on Friday, November 18, 2022. Born in Reading, PA on November 25, 1945, she was a cherished daughter to the late Henry R. Endy and Eva Mae (Stufflet) Endy.
Linda earned her bachelor's degree at Alvernia University and dedicated over 20 years in quality control management, with the Izod Lacoste clothing company.
An extremely gifted woman, Linda was an avid gardener and had a lifelong passion for sewing and quilting. Family and friends were beneficiaries of her quilts, many of which have now become family heirlooms. Linda always had a quilt in the making on the machine and was a member of the Heart & Home Quilters Guild.
Linda was never one to mince words and always called things as she saw them. She commanded respect and offered the same in return. Linda was a feisty and very determined woman, who loved to be the center of attention, the life of the party, the star of the show! She will be fondly remembered for her amazing sense of humor and her ability to see people as individuals, each with their own struggles, and was always accepting of anyone who came into her life. She will be sorely missed by all blessed enough to have known her.
Linda's spirit will be carried on by her beloved husband of 27 years, Calvin Epler; her 4 adult children John Kurtis Hughes II (Tammy), Sheri Lynn Baxter (Robert), David Allen Hughes (Heather); and Stephen Michael Hughes (Krista). Linda also leaves behind her brother Ronald Endy (Joanne); 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her loving dog, Harvey, to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Linda was greeted in heaven by her brother George Endy.
A viewing for Linda will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Rev. John Folk officiating.
