Julia Mae Piper

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest R. Piper on October 28, 1992

Julia was from Washington, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Lloyd Norman, Sr. and Texanna (Turner) Norman.

She lived in Pennsylvania most of her life where she married her late husband, Ernest Piper, and raised her family while working until she retired. She lived with her daughter, Kathryn Piper in North Carolina for the last 4 years.

She is survived by her children, Shirley McCuller, widow of Richard; Kathryn L. Piper, Jeffrey Piper and wife Helen, and Russell Piper and with Linda. She was predeceased by her children Kenneth E. Piper and Lori Ann Piper. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She loved them all and will be sorely missed.

A funeral service for Julia will be held at Theo. C. Auman, Inc., 247 Penn Street, Reading, Pa. 19601 on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 am. Following the service, she will be interred with her late husband and son in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
