Jeannette Marie Lloyd of Reading, PA, revered as a kind and loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Born on June 29, 1939, to the late Robert B. Trader and Antoinette M. (Stallone) Trader, Jeannette was loved for her warmth, generosity, and the undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
Jeannette's spirit will be carried on by her devoted husband, Jerry Lloyd, whose life was filled with deep and unending love for his wife and soulmate, Jeannette. Jerry and Jeannette were married in 1958 and shared 66 cherished years together. Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Lloyd; her son, Stuart Lloyd, and his wife, Lynne; and her grandchildren, Jonathan and Cara.
Jeannette’s legacy is defined by strength, intelligence, generosity, and patience. She worked tirelessly and joyfully to create a safe and loving home for her family. Despite the many challenges she faced, Jeannette never wavered in putting the needs of her loved ones before her own. The love she shared daily lives on in the hearts of her family and stands as a lasting testament to her unwavering faith in God and the promises of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Family and friends wishing to pay their respects are warmly welcomed to attend a prayer service for Jeannette to be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Graveside committal will immediately at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jeannette's memory may be made to the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507. For several decades, the devoted staff of Barber Resources of Delaware Valley have been providing Jeannette’s daughter, Shelly, with exceptional care, protection, and support. The Lloyd family will be forever grateful for their unwavering commitment and kindness.
