Mrs. Sabo was born in Johnstown on May 25, 1914, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Fidlem) Hoyak. She worked in the Distribution Center at the Reading Eagle Company from October 28, 1966 until retirement on August 30, 1980.
Mrs. Sabo was a lifetime member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving is her beloved daughter, Regina M. Sabo of Reading and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sabo is predeceased by a daughter, JoAnn Sabo; four sisters, Mary Gombar, Rose Sako, Elizabeth Roberts and Ethel Rushnek and a brother, Stephen Hoyak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will commence promptly at 10:00am on Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 322 S. Fifth St., Reading. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 8:00pm on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery & Mausoleum, Reading.
