Sister Janet Hughes, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, went home to her heavenly Father on January 17, 2019. She was 88 years old. Sister Janet was an elementary teacher, a school librarian, a secretary and worked in the Ministry of Caring. The Sisters of Notre Dame will welcome family and friends from 1:30 PM-2:45 PM on Wednesday, January 23rd. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM. Burial will take place after the Mass. Memorials may be sent to the Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund at 701 E. Columbia Avenue, Cincinnati 45215.
