You phone didn't answer for a long time, I tried to google for another contact of yours. I wanted to invite you for my wedding. And what I find? The memorial... You were the person who saved me, who showed me another way of life. My teacher, my friend, my father... You were gone for almost a year and I didn't know it... You will always be in my prayers.

I miss talking to Chuck at the bookstore all the time like we used to. He was always in a good mood and fun to talk to. I went in there the other day and I kept feeling he was going to stop by. I miss him and hope that Ashley, Tonya and Malachi are doing good.

I miss my Dad more and more each day but know that he will always be with me. I love him so much and and he meant the world to me.

Love to all.  My spirit is so restless. I just can't imagine this world without Chuck. 
Rest in peace my cousin...You will be missed.  Peace, love and prayers to his children.

Chuck was my first cousin.  Full of love, advice, and kindness. He and Ashley would spend time with us in Ky. He would tell Ashley we would eat THE freshest vegetables God made.  Fresh out of the garden picked by little Ashley and strung and broke.  Fresh, healthy good food.  
He was so special to me and I will miss him very much.

I'll miss those  beautiful blue eyes. Such a beautiful, inspiring person. He sure knew how to make someone feel important. I'm glad to have had the privilege to meet him. My condolences for the family. I know the stars holding him tonight.

chuck was a cousin of mine, used to come to kentucky often, and we would all travel out to the old brandenburg home place and take long walks through the woods and talk about all the stories we were told. havent seen chuck in quite a few years. my thoughts and prayers to out the kids of chucks. - Luther Horton of West Liberty, KY son of Debi Horton

Chuck was a very, very good friend, and he always had time to talk with his friends.  HE made the world better with his vegetarian lifestyle and his recycling business.
We'll miss him.

Chuck was amazing for his insights into what was really important in life. He could  discern what was the truth in critical areas like diet and finances. I'm sure he extended his life through his vegan life style, over coming health issues that others would have lost the battle to years before. He was always fun to hang out with, we will miss him dearly.

My condolences to you all. May you find comfort in reading Ps 68:19,20 in this time of sorrow.

Among his many accomplishments, Chuck was perhaps most proud of his having been the founder of The Cincinnati Vegetarian Resource Group, the precursor of the various vegan groups in our City today. He always extended his circle of compassion to include
animals, and hoped that others would follow his lead -- what a great legacy that he will leave behind if those who care about him, will give thought to also having animals in their hearts instead of in their stomachs. We knew Chuck for almost 40 years and think that he was an inspiration for us all. We will miss running into him over the years at Saturday lunches at The Loving Hut and seeing that great smile.
