Wayne E. Mason Sr.

He was born December 9, 1948, in Tiffin, Ohio, a son of the late George and Dorothy (Zimmerman) Mason. Wayne was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Tiffin Moose Lodge 846, and a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea from 1968 through 1971. He retired from the General Motors Lordstown Plant in 1997. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Audrey (Galvin) Mason; sons: Todd (Vanessa) Mason of Homeworth and Wayne Mason Jr. of Rootstown; grandchildren: Brooke, Keilah, Jacob, and Brock Mason; sisters: Barb (Dave) Kingseed of Tiffin and Bonnie (Charlie) Thomas of Tiffin; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, October 5, 2012, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Reverend Thomas Acker at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
