Tracy was born to parents Joe and Judy (Alleshouse) Schofield on March 29, 1974 in Ravenna, Ohio. She graduated from Ravenna High School with the class of 1992 and earned an Associate’s Degree from Boheckers Business College. Tracy was currently employed as an accounts specialist with Independence of Portage County where she enjoyed her work and associates for over 24 years. She had also worshiped at Kent Trinity Lutheran Church and liked spending time socializing at the Ravenna Italian Club.
Tracy loved the outdoors and some of her favorite activities were taking trips to the beach, laying in the sun and enjoying her morning coffee while watching the squirrels. Tracy will fondly be remembered for her infectious laugh that could light up a room. She enjoyed watching her kids, nieces and nephews play sports and was a big Cleveland Browns fan! Most of all in Tracy’s life was her love for her husband, children and friends.
Tracy is survived by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Gombeda III. Married on July 7, 2001, together they enjoyed 21 years of mutual love and support. She also leaves her loving children Grace Gombeda and Bob Gombeda. Left also to cherish her memory is her mother Judy, her sister Tara (Henry) Bolanz and brother David (Sarah) Schofield. Also surviving is her mother & father-in-law Linda and Bob Gombeda, sister-in-law Megan (Clint) Marsh, her uncle Von (Kathy) Alleshouse, her best friend Becky Brumley along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tracy was preceded in death by her father Joe Schofield, grandma "Cookie" Alleshouse, grandpa Hugo Alleshouse and her brother-in-law Michael Gombeda.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel at 6:00 PM at the Ravenna Elks Lodge, 776 N. Freedom St., Ravenna. A time of fellowship will follow.
