He was born April 17, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Thomas H. and Bertha Workman. Tom proudly served his country as a veteran of the US Army. He later retired from the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission after 27 years of employment.
Tom loved classic cars and restored several throughout the years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, often with his brothers-in-law. Tom was also known for his horseshoe playing skills and sense of humor.
Tom is survived by his children: Thomas (Kimberly) Workman Jr., Angel (John) Ress, and Daniel (Jodi) Workman, his loving grandchildren: Brittany, Farrah, and Vanna Workman, Nikole (Brian) Swansiger, Jacob Ress, and Danie Workman, and Ashlynn Hawley along with his great-grandchildren: Keian, Addison, Connor, Sophia, Lakelyn, Everlee, Zaida, Nova, Kareem and Karmello also survived by his siblings: Bob (Betty) Workman, Clarence (Brenda) Workman, Judy (Allen) Medley, Eleanore Stanley, and his brother-in-law John (Carol) Konkle, his dear friend Linda Cundiff, in addition to many loving nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lola (Konkle) Workman, who passed away December 1, 2015. He was also preceded by his parents and his sister Eva Mason.
Friends and family will be received Monday, October 18, 2021, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park with military honors.
