Richard C. Brown

Richard was born in Ravenna, Ohio, on April 21, 1959 to parents Carlos J. Brown and Lassie (Harper) Brown. Richard attended Windham Schools. He was a maintenance supervisor at Cobra Plastics.

Richard was a very family-oriented person who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed fishing with his friends and family. He also loved all Cleveland sports.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Patricia Brown of Akron, and siblings: Charlie (Margret) Brown of Garrettsville, Judy Hoskins of Ravenna, Larry (Christine) Brown of Garrettsville, Dale (Sharon) Brown of Garrettsville, Kathy (Martin) Vanderheyden of Algonac, Michigan, and Carolyn (Dave) Morris of Newton Falls.

He is proceeded in death by his father Carlos Brown, mother Lassie Brown, sister Elise Haney, brother Bill Brown, sister Mary (Virginia) Carpenter, and sister Bobbie King.

A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
