Pauline L. Farrar Clark

She married Reverend John L. Clark on August 19, 1938. She spent the next 40 years being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and supporting her husband’s ministry. Reverend Clark served as the pastor of the Ravenna United Methodist Church from 1958 – 1961. They both served many churches in northeast Ohio. After her husband’s death in 1979, Mrs. Clark remained an active member of the church. She most recently was a member of the Damascus United Methodist Church in Damascus, Ohio.

She loved her family, family camping and counseling at church camps. She was a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service.

It was her strong faith that helped her endure the pain she suffered the last several years.

Survivors include her children: John L. Clark Jr. (Caroline) of Jamestown, WV., Edwin P. (Linda) Clark of Ravenna and Charlotte H. (Gerald) Manley of Westerville, Ohio. Her sister: Marie Stewart of Medway, Oh., also survives as well as eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L., brothers: James, Orville, Clyde, Don, Bill, Dave and sister: Mildred Wolf.

Friends will be received from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service, on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio. Reverend Robert Amey will officiate.

Burial will take place privately at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
