She was born October 24, 1945, in Kingwood, West Virginia, to parents William and Genevieve (Wolfe) Stanton. Norma met her beloved Arden McClure when they were both living in Cleveland, and were married on June 15, 1963.
Norma was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed fishing at Mosquito Lake and West Branch, cooking, and visiting casinos.
Norma is survived by her husband Arden McClure, her children: Denise (Troy) Muron, Douglas (Chris) McClure, and Deanna (Rich) Powers. She was affectionately known as Granny to her grandchildren: Joshua Muron, Shane Muron, April McClure, DJ McClure, Cheyenne Powers, and Kolton Powers, as well as her great-grandson Zaine Muron. Norma is also survived by her siblings: Phyllis Moran, James (Kathy) Stanton, Rebecca (Robert) Bush, and Pamela Williams.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Carolyn Stanton and Dottie Moore, her brother Garrett Bunch, and her brothers-in-law Jerry Moran and Junior Moore.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
