LeRoy Scotty E. Scott

He was born June 12, 1929, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Earl and Ada (Biniger) Scott. LeRoy was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna, volunteering for church dinners, and working as a part-time janitor. He retired as a pressman from the Record Courier after 42 years of employment. LeRoy served his country as a member of the National Guard achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a proud grandfather, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen (Cale) Scott, whom he married August 22, 1953, as well as their children: Randy (Debbie), Wayne (Donna), Ricky (Douglas), Lynn (Kathy); grandchildren: Rochelle, Wendy, Robert, Shannon Roshon, Matthew, Jonathan, and Andrew; great-grandchildren: Gavin, Lexi, and Madi; sister-in-law Priscilla (Ernest) Skilton; and niece Madonna (Albert) Duaso. LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

Friends will be received Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM funeral service officiated by Reverend Stephen Sparling at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
