Judy K. Carpenter Hawkins

Judy was born January 7, 1945, in Grantsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Shirley G. and Blanche (Brookover) Carpenter. She was a homemaker living in Ravenna for the past 35 years. Judy was a member of the New Beginning Fellowship Church in Brimfield, was devoted to her family, and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Jerry Hawkins, daughter Shelley (Dave) Feist, son Jerry Hawkins II, grandchildren: Erik Hogan, Amanda (Jeremy) Mazzocco, Ashley Hawkins, great-grandchildren: Kylie Hogan and Adrianna Mazzocco, brother Ron Carpenter, and sisters: Carol (Jerry) Plachko, Kathy Tucker, and Jean Grant. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be celebrated by Pastor Tommie Nicholas at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the New Beginning Fellowship Church.
