Jack was born May 25, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to the late Raymond Gilbert and Genevieve (Fuller) Linton.
Jack retired as a tire builder from General Tire with 25 years of employment.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, he loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Titusville VFW and the Moose Lodge. Jack had a great sense of humor!
Besides his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his sister Lois Schoning.
Jack is survived by his son Gary Gilbert, his daughter Susan Gilbert, his brothers Jim Gilbert and Gerald Gilbert, step-sister LaFond Giulitto, and his life partner, Sandy McIntyre.
Following Jack’s wishes, he will be buried next to his mother in Grandview Cemetery on Thursday, December 8th at 1PM
