Helen was born in Atwater, Ohio on June 27, 1935 to parents Russell and Carrie (Burkey) Moff.
She had enjoyed a long career as a secretary at Plast-a-matic Corp in Rootstown and was a member of the United Congregational Church in Rootstown. After her retirement, Helen volunteered at Robinson Memorial Hospital and worked for the Board of Elections at the Atwater polling location during elections.
Helen was active in the 50 plus club and after her retirement she enjoyed many years bowling in local leagues. She loved traveling, taking many cruises, casino trips and attending plays. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, dominos, Sudoku and doing crossword puzzles. She liked spending time on her computer, as she was a “tech savvy” woman. Helen always took pride in being well appointed and looking her best.
Helen is survived by her daughter Paula (Dan) Miller, her grandson Chris Miller and her great-granddaughter Lily Miller. Surviving also is her sister Alice “Lea” (Doc) Jenkins, her brother Allen Moff and many loving nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Paul, son Steve Miller, her parents, brother Russell Moff, sisters Dotty Ranft & Hazel Quinn.
Memorial services, officiated by Pastor Susan Woodall, will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Family will receive friends immediately following until 2pm.
