He was born August 8, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Peter and Mary (Hudec) Savage. He was also an active contributor of New Life Ministries in Louisville.
Edward loved the outdoors, coffee, ice cream, and cooking a “Savage Special” for his family. He enjoyed riding his tractor through his woods, and mowing his lawn. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and gave graciously of his time and talents.
