Debra L. Garrity

Deb was born October 8th, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to her loving parents Lenore and Thomas Patrick. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Deb was married to Kevin Garrity and together they shared 49 years of cherished memories.

Deb's greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband Kevin Garrity, her children Thomas (Melissa) Garrity and Jennifer (Jeremy) Halaska, and her grandchildren Zach (Katie) Hickman, Derek Garrity, Justin (Erika) Garrity, Aubrey Walter, Brooklyn and Bianca Montalvo, Libby and Leo Halaska. Deb was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lilly and Daisy Hickman, and Evelyn and Emmett Garrity.

Deb was a dedicated food service employee, known for her kindness and attention to detail. When not working, she found solace in spending time with her family and friends, especially during their vacations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 East Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio, 44266 on Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Dave Merzweiler, will be held on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 AM at St. Martin's Church, 1800 Station City, Valley City, Ohio. Interment will follow at St. Martin’s Cemetery.

Deb's kindness, warmth, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
