Deborah Ann Jones

She was born September, 29, 1964, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Donna (Shaver) and Stanley Jones. Debbie graduated from Waterloo High School in 1983, and later graduated from Bohecker’s Business College. She was a longtime legal secretary and later served as a bailiff for Judge Mark Fankhauser.

Debbie’s smile was contagious and her energy brightened any room she entered. She always saw the good in any person or situation. Her positivity and strength were just some of her best qualities. Debbie loved throwing parties and events for family and friends. She enjoyed working at the courthouse and made many friends over the years. She also enjoyed spoiling her beloved dog, Reese. Above all, Debbie was a loving mother and proud Nana. She was always quick to share the latest pictures of her little angel, Reagan.

Debbie is survived by her daughters Lindsey (Jason) Anderson and Lauren Limric, her grandchildren Reagan and Ryan Anderson, her mother Donna Huffman, her brothers Troy (Paula) Jones and Todd (Jenny) Jones, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Todd Limric and many dear friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Stanley Jones, her grandmothers Mae Jones and Marguerite Shaver, and her uncle Junior Phillips.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Portage Community Chapel, 6490 State Route 14, Ravenna, with Reverend Bryan Jones and Reverend Ronald Lanham officiating. Interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.
