She was born in Ravenna, Ohio, and was raised in Edinburg, Ohio. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Mary (Ruble) Goldner. Cheryl is survived by her six children: Tracy (Rob Bretz) Marks, Terrie (Kevin) Shackelford, Kelley (Everett) Lovejoy, Amie Martin, Billy (April) Martin, and Michael Martin. G-Ma’s memory will also be cherished by all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many more loved ones, including extended family and friends.
Cheryl was a devoted employee, retiring after 32 years with Giant Eagle, where she developed many friendships throughout the years. She loved spending her free time with her children and grandchildren. Cheryl was a loving mother with a heart of gold, who dedicated her life to caring for her special needs son Michael. Cheryl had a goofy sense of humor that could make anyone smile. She touched the lives of everyone she met, becoming a mother, grandmother, and friend to anyone in need. She is so loved and will never be forgotten.
