Budd Rumsey

Budd Rumsey lost a two year battle with cancer on May 29, 2022, in the comfort of his home with his daughter and son at his side. Budd was born on July 29, 1954, in Erie, Pennsylvania, the fourth child of Jim and Peg Rumsey. He was raised in Streetsboro and graduated from High School in 1973.

When anyone was looking for a specific item and set Budd out to find it, he had an uncanny ability to find that item at a great bargain. When a deal was good, Budd felt like a couple extra would probably be handy, no matter what the item. He loved to be outside spring through fall fishing, riding motorcycles, and working on cars.

Budd believed his kids, Teresa (Chris) Crull and David Rumsey could accomplish anything they set out to do. They will miss their Dad terribly. His grandchildren, Ollie and Maggie may some day share “pooey kisses” with their own kids in remembrance of their Pappy.

He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad.

His siblings, Jim (Sandy), Diane, Randy (Pam), and Sonny (Linda) will find comfort in their memories of Budd, as will his nieces and nephews.
