Amy Lynn Heimberger, 46, passed from this world on October 11, 2021. She was born at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, South Dakota, on April 5, 1975, to Craig L. and Diana (Scott) Heimberger. In her younger years, she always kept her family on their toes.
She moved to Nebraska, Colorado, Minnesota, and Ohio with her parents due to her dad’s job transfers. Amy made many lifelong friends along the way and always kept in touch with them. In Ohio, she graduated from Ravenna High School and worked for Baker’s Towing in Akron for many years. She also worked for Home Instead as a caregiver and always made friends of her clients.
She is survived by her parents, Craig and Diana Heimberger, her sons Tyler Heimberger and Mykal Moore, and her longtime partner Chris Moore. She is also survived by her sister Wendy Blackford of Colorado, as well as many extended family members. Amy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Larry and Zola Heimberger and her maternal grandparents Tommy and Donna Scott along with several aunts and uncles.
Amy gave her life to Jesus and was baptized January 3, 1988. She was a loving, giving person with a huge heart willing to give what she had to others. Amy was a second “Mom” to her sons’ friends and “Aunt Amy” to her friends’ children. Amy’s greatest joy and pride were her two sons, who she loved more than anything. Her warm smile and huge heart will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace baby girl.
