I met Wylie in 1980 and immediately liked him. He became a client and a friend and I hated to see him move away. Life is full of regrets. One of mine is that I didn't call or talk to him more often. I think I last talked to him about 4 or 5 years ago and I remember thinking how the sound of his voice really didn't change much from the first time we met. I would have enjoyed playing golf with him. We had only one game scheduled and that one got rained out. Over the years I don't remember much of what we talked about from a business standpoint. I do remember getting the update with the family and it was obvious that the family was a high priority. You could tell that quickly. Robyn, it has been about 30 years since I saw you last and I can't believe how fast time passes. I just want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my condolences.

Words cannot describe the sadness I have felt and the state of shock I have been in since learning of Wylie's passing. For days now I have thought of you two and him, all our times together and how long we have been friends. I have thought of college days, FSU games in Tallahassee and alumni events in Tampa, birthday celebrations, and our times after work monthly as long as you lived nearby. Diane, the image of the two of you at the back of the church on your wedding day hasn't left my mind; he was beaming ear to ear and a very proud father. The father-daughter dance at the reception was priceless. Wylie was such a gentleman, a down to earth person, a wonderful husband to my best friend and father to their daughter. Quiet but so much fun to be around. What a smile he had. And a very smart man, passing that exam on the first try.  He loved you both so much, you were his life. Robyn and Diane, I was so sorry to hear about Wylie.  I had the pleasure of working with him on numerous negotiations with one of my customers and got to know him on a personal basis.  We spent a lot of time talking about family and college football, specifically FSU and Texas A&M.  Every August we would discuss what road game each of us would be attending and I will sure miss that call this August.  Thank you Wylie for a wonderful friendship and may your soul rest in peace.
