I’m so sorry to hear the sad news.  I was the curly haired girl, Mike’s age from Lennox Place that always came over to jump on the trampoline.  I had the best time with Mike and other friends jumping on the trampoline. My thoughts and prayers  with you all.

Coach Mike always made baseball fun, along with his dad coach Steve. He always would bring his candy and even share it every now and then. He truly bettered my experience when playing.

I will forever miss Mike’s kindness and his gentle soul. The lord has now taken him in and will look after him for eternity. I love you, Mike.

In my mind Mike will always be Michael, that smiling kid at grandmother Bulla’s on holidays, riding bikes with Aaron. Sharing racing stories and the two of them trying to outdo one another. Mike’s passing is our loss, but heaven’s gain.

Mike had a huge heart, he was always smiling and laughing . He had an uncanny ability to make you feel right at home and welcome. He had a great hug, he will truly be missed.

Our hearts are broken for you as you have said goodbye to Michael much, much too early - but I know you take comfort in knowing that "life is eternal, and love is immortal - and death is only a horizon that limits our sight for now".  We know for certain that in Revelation 21:4 we are promised that "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying . . . for the former things have passed away."   What a blessed promise to know that we will one day all be reunited with Michael for eternity.  
In our hearts you are as much a part of our family as we are of yours.  Please know that we love you and pray for you daily.

Words simply fail when we experience a loss like this. 

I have so many memories with Mike going back to middle school. I have some scars as well. 

Once he shut my thumb in the door of his golden vw beetle. The door was a shut flush and my thumb was right in the corner. I still have a scar that’s in a perfect right angle. That made up for the time he punched through the glass in my back door and cut his hand. We definitely got up to some hijinx. He was a wonderful guy with such a great energy. 💔 gone much too soon.

I slept over with Mike one night in middle school and I was just shocked that his father brushed his teeth with warm/hot water. I think about that almost daily now that I’m the middle aged father of kids that also think that’s weird. 

I hate Mike and I lost touch, but time and distance can do that. I hope he knows that I will always have love for him in my heart! And I look forward spending time with his beautiful soul someday.

One of my favorite memories of Michael is how he would so often show up at my home to bring me flowers. He explained that “all ladies love flowers.”. He was so sweet. Michael loved sports and so many times when we would attend sporting events for our grandson there was Michael, across the gym or in the dugout,  alongside his father coaching and encouraging youngsters, as they played ball. I heard him described as “someone who would give you the shirt off his back “. Indeed, he was that person and for me that best describes him. His generous heart was a gift to all those who knew him and to this world he has left behind. 
We love him and will miss him and our hearts and prayers are with you all.
