Sandy attended Overton High School, in Memphis TN. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, a Masters in Food Sciences from Colorado State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Memphis State University. Sandy worked at the Murdoch Center in Butner NC, as the Food Services Director.
Sandy is survived by her 2 brothers, Joseph Ostby and his wife Ann, of Oxford NC, and Steve Lee, of Ft. Lauderdale FL. She will be dearly missed by her niece, Angel Rollins and husband David and her nephew, Lonnie Glover and wife Christie; and her 4 great nephews, Christopher and Johnathan Glover and Joey and Cameron Rollins; as well as her beloved dogs, Minnie and Sammie.
A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday June 23, at the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC, with a reception to follow the service.
