Sandra "Sandy" Y. Jones

She attended NC State University in Raleigh for a brief period of time.

She worked as office manager for Woodward Cannon MD and later as the Vice President and Secretary at Rick Jones Services.

She was actively involved in being the South Eastern District Youth Coordinator for Church of God Seventh Day for many years.

She is preceded in death by her father Charlie (Roland) Young and mother Betty B Young; her granddaughter, Savannah Burrell, and grandson, Malachi Burrell.

She is survived by her Husband of 50 years Ricky (Rick), son Jeffrey (Jeff) Jones, daughter-in-law Heather of Zebulon NC, daughter Christina Burrell, son-in-law Darin of North Richland Hills, TX, five grandchildren, brother Dennis Young of Pelham, NC

The family would like to thank daughter-law Heather Jones, sister-in-law Lessie Kilgore and Heartland Hospice Staff for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

A visitation with the family will begin at 11am in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 12pm with a Graveside to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Friends and Family are invited back to Mitchell Funeral Home for a reception. Sandy loved Spring time and wearing bright, casual clothing. Please honor her by wearing Spring colors and dressing casually at her Celebration of Life.
