Ruth Ann Monti Costello

She is survived by her children Tim Costello (Julie); Kevin Costello (Linda), Kathy Floyd, Colleen Hardy (Jim), Maureen Costello and Charlene Wellborn (David); 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and an expected great-grandson.

Ruth was the foundation of her large family having been the mainstay and support throughout the 59 years of marriage to John and beyond. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church since 1975 having served in multiple leadership roles including Congregational President.

She served as a Church Secretary for many years. Following her retirement Ruth became involved with the NC Board of Elections.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1500 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruth’s memory to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Raleigh, NC.
