It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronnie Yates Neville. Surrounded by Family, Ronnie passed peacefully on December 7th, 2024, at the age of 81. Ronnie was born on July 13th, 1943, in the great city of Raleigh, NC where he continued to live with tremendous passion and service to others.
Ronnie was known by many titles Hunter, Fisherman, Coach, Teacher but most of all a beloved Husband, Father, Grand-Father, and Great Grandfather. He graduated from Garner High School in 1962 where shortly after he met his loving wife of 60 years, Jewell Neville. After graduating high school Ronnie entered a career with the United States Postal Service where he eagerly served for 32 years before retiring in 2004.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and coach who continued to teach and pass on his passion for sports and outdoorsmanship for many years to whoever wanted to learn. Ronnie Neville, a beacon of hope and passion for all who want to continue doing what they love for their entire lives. While you may be gone from us physically, you will always be with us whenever we step onto a ball field, have a fishing rod in our hands, hike through the woods, or simply pass on tradition to our children and beyond.

Ronnie is predeceased by his mother Lottie Mae Shearon and his Daughter Diane Marie Neville. He is survived by his Beloved Wife Jewell Neville, his three children and Spouses (Pam Neville, Carl Neville, and Rhonda Neville.), his 12 Grandchildren and Spouses (Krystal Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, Jesse Thompson, Blaine Bryant, Trevor Bryant, Mckenzie Bryant, Mikayla Holt, Alice Neville, Carly Neville, Haley Neville, Yates Neville, and Dustin Neville.) and his 10 Great-Grandchildren(Makenna Quinn, Caleb Quinn, Paisley Patterson, Kylie Shepherd, Sadie Thompson, Raylee Settle, Jonathan Bryant, Everleigh Bryant, Autumn Bryant, and Aspen Bryant).
The Funeral Service is under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park. The service was held on Wednesday, December 18th in the Chapel at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park.
