Ronald "Ron" Everette Jones, 77, of Raleigh, went home to be with the Lord after an extended illness. He was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Everette and Bernice (Starling) Jones.
Ron is survived by Judith Carr, his devoted wife of 29 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 25, 2017 From 6:30-8:00 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Raleigh Memorial Park 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609.
